Managing Director

Tim Purcell
Born in Port Hedland, Tim has grown up in the Crane Hire industry. His family established the first privately owned Crane Hire business in the region, and has worked in various positions over a 10 year period - from Crane Operator to Crane Coordinator and finally General Manager at Purcell Crane Hire. Tim founded Gravity Crane Services in 2005. Tim graduated with a BA in Economics and has travelled the world extensively to gain experience in both the Crane Industry and service delivery excellence.

General Manager

Tom Fraser
With over 23 years' experience in all aspects of crane and rigging, Tom Fraser has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with the construction and mining sector.
Tom's expertise makes him perfect for completing demanding projects within crucial timelines, attaining corporate objectives and exceeding customer expectations in highly competitive environment. Tom's focus is on customer satisfaction, and his strong interpersonal skills have proven to be an invaluable asset to the Gravity team.

Operations Manager

Grant French

Grant has lived and worked in the Pilbara for the past eight years. He has extensive industry experience on construction sites throughout the region. Two and half years based on Barrow Island with the maintenance team gave Grant invaluable experience in the management of project and lift planning. Most recently Grant served as a supervisor at the project team working for Gravity Cranes at the Port prior to being elevated into the Operations Managers role based at the Gravity depot in Wedgefield.

Administrations Manager

Lina Rosher
Lina has over 20 years' experience in Finance and Administration. She joined the company in 2005 after relocating to the Pilbara. Her wide knowledge of the rental and resource industry has assisted the company in its growth and development. Lina's areas of expertise span across both managing relationships and focusing on customer service.

Business Development Manager

Stephen Lazenby

Stephen joined Gravity Crane Services as the Business Development Manager after spending 15 years heading up a sales division of a major mobile crane and services company in WA. During his extensive crane sales career, Stephen was responsible for the marketing of this business throughout Western Australia, with a heavy focus on the Pilbara Region and construction projects in general. With a strong customer focus and understanding of the stringent OH&S requirements in the crane industry, Stephen is responsible for the future Business Development of the three major sectors of the Gravity Crane Services business. Stephen spends his time operating between the Pilbara and Joondalup offices of Gravity Cranes.
